BIKING & RIDING

Did you know your bike can ride the bus too?

Access Allegany buses are equipped with bike racks on the front of them for your convenience. Simply ride your bike to a scheduled stop or arrange for a flag stop along the route, and when the bus arrives load your bike on the front of the bus:

Step 1.
Squeeze the handle in the center of the bike rack.

Step 2.
Lower the bike rack.

Step 3.
Load your bike onto the rack.

Step 4.
Secure the bike by placing the arm over the front tire of the bike. If it's your first time loading your bike let the bus operator know and they can show you how to properly load your bike.

Access Allegany Public Transit assumes no responsibility for bikes that are lost, stolen, damaged, or left on racks. Riders are responsible for loading and unloading their bicycles.
