Monthly Passes can be purchased on any Access Allegany Bus, Transdev in Cuba and Access Allegany in Wellsville

System Transfers

We are pleased to offer transfers within our Access Allegany Service Areas and to our neighboring transit systems.  Please note, you may be charged an additional fee for transfers within these systems. To view neighboring transit providers go HERE.


Bike Racks

Bike racks on buses have space for at least two bikes and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. ACCESS Allegany Public Transit assumes no responsibility for bikes that are lost, stolen, damaged, or left on racks. Riders are responsible for loading and unloading their bicycles.

Park & Ride

Park your vehicle at Allegany County's Park and Ride located at the Crossroads Center, 6087 NYS Route 19N, Belmont, New York 14813. Then, board a bus to take you to your final destination

You can help to make riding the bus more pleasant for all riders by following the Access Allegany Code of Conduct which can be found at the bottom of this page

Holiday Schedule

BUSES DO NOT RUN ON THESE DAYS:

New Years Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, July 4th, and Christmas Day. 

Flag Stops

Flag Stops are undesignated bus stops that can occur on a fixed bus route between designated bus stops. To schedule a Flag Stop, please contact the Access Allegany Call Center Monday - Friday from 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m at 585-593-1738. Keep in mind you MUST be on the correct side of the road to match the busses direction of travel. The Access Allegany Call Center operator will instruct you on what time you should be at your pick-up location and will notify the bus driver.

Transfer Hubs

There are many convenient transfer hubs within the Access Allegany service areas. You will need to tell your bus driver of your transfer and they will issue you a FREE transfer pass, as well as let the bus you'll be meeting know. If you need assistance with your trip planning between areas please call the Call Center.

Route Deviation

In Accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act regulations, we offer individuals living with a disability better access to transportation services through route deviation. Buses will travel up to 3/4 of a mile from a fixed route to pick up or drop off passengers. To request this service, contact the Access Allegany Call Center in advance. Route deviations cost $3.00 per boarding.

Driver Breaks

On the schedule you if see the word "BREAK" in a box this means that the bus driver will be on break. No passengers will be allowed on the bus during this time.

Code of Conduct


We hope that you will find Access Allegany services to be comfortable and reliable. You can help to make riding the bus more pleasant for all customers by following a few simple riding tips:

  • There is NO EATING or DRINKING on-board buses, and please do not litter.
  • Smoking, vaping, use of all tobacco and marijuana products, consumption of alcohol and use/or possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Any conduct that would be deemed criminal or offensive shall not be tolerated and may result in suspension of riding privileges.
  • We require that you wear shoes and a shirt on-board any bus.
  • There is no playing of radios, tape players or other audio equipment while on-board without earphones or headphones provided the volume is turned down
  • Emergency-exit instructions are displayed inside all buses for customer safety. In an emergency or unusual situation, please notify your bus operator immediately.
  • Animals are not allowed on-board unless they are in a carrier that can fit on your lap or at your feet in front of you. Service animals are welcomed on-board to assist their owners.
  • Baby strollers and grocery carts are allowed on-board, provided they can be collapsed and stored on your lap or in front of you or can be secured by the bus operator.
  • Shopping bags and small packages are allowed on-board buses, provided they fit on your lap, in front of you on the floor, or in the overhead bins. Do not put boxes or bags in the aisles where they may block passage for other customers.
  • Gambling is not allowed on any bus.
  • Firearms are not allowed on any bus.
  • Do not vandalize or damage Buses or Shelters. Vandalism is a crime and will be punished with a fine or a jail sentence. Please report vandalism to us immediately if you see it happening.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or up to permanent discontinuation of use of  the Access Allegany Public Transportation System.
